I have real thick, curly hair that til recently has static all the time, how can i stop it?please help

This may sound weird but... When I was in 5th grade, I had an awesome teacher who had very long, very thick curly hair that she had static problems with. Well, she would spray it with static-guard! It's a can that they sell for staticy clothing, she sprayed it on her hair and it would tame it right down.

try putting a very tiny bit of hand lotion or olive oil in your hands and coming your fingers thru your hair. it will give just enough moisture and weight to calm the static without looking greasy

After you dry it (or it dries on its own) try a gel product to matt it down, like Tigi Bed Head

I too have thick curly hair, and every jacket I put on only makes it worse! I picked up a can of Static Guard, spray a little on your comb and run it through your hair. Then lightly spraying your clothing helps too! It has elminated most of my static problems! (dryer sheets work too!)

Use the Aussie moist shampoo and the 3minute miracle conditioner as conditioner...

There's Aussie Catch the Wave mousse...use that right after you get out of the shower...It doesn't leave your hair sticky, tangled, or hard!!! it works!!!

Paul Mitchell's mousse, and supper skinny serum( dime sized or nickel sized) while wet. Bed Head after party while dry. ( about a quarter sized start at the midstrand and work your way through the rest of the hair.) Also take a dryer sheet and and rub it all over your hair,
