i think i might just buy a normal thin ghd aswel...but just before i do...are you able to curl your hair with the thick GHD, because i already have that one, so would be handy???

You can do ribbon curls with wide plates, but not usually ringlets or spirals.
Hold the straightener close to your roots, turn 90 - 180 degrees, and then glide through your hair as normal.

OMG those GHD's are amazing just tried one for the first time last week. I would definately go with the thinner one so that you could get tighter curls
