They make special shampoos for that, but my experience is that they don't work.

Personally, I like to use mousse and a root lifter. I like Suave products for my mousse and hairspray and I buy my root lifter from my hair stylest.

When I want really curly hair, my best results come from hot rollers.

If you want thick, try Rene Furterer's Tonucia shampoo and no-rinse foam. After the first use, it adds 7% to the hair shaft. They use a short chain of amino acids from wheat protein so they are small enough to penetrate the finest hair strands and plump them up. Trust me, once you try it, you will never use anything else. As for making it curly ... I can only suggest a perm, which is not good for your hair.

Well when you dry your hair, tip your head upside down and blow down with the hairdryer, add volumising and curling mousse. When it's dry, add a couple of curls with a curling tong then spray with hairspray x x

You can first start out with washing your hair with volumizing shampoo and light conditioner, next add a rootlifter to your scalp(while hair is still wet) after that use a volumizing MOUSSE not gel because it weighs hair down. then flip your head upside down and diffuse it. make sure your hair is completely dry and make sure you use a diffuser, just blow drying your hair will make it FRIZZ real bad. complete your style with a flexible hold spray. good luck.
