It doesn't seem to matter how much conditioner I use, my hair is always extremely tangled and hard to manage after a shower. Any good brands that actually work?

I use the new curly conditioner by herbal essences and my secret is that i comb my hair with the conditioner in while in the shower... i ring it dry and still wrap it in a towel when i get out, but it keeps almost all of the tangles out. Try that!!

aussie leave in conditioner, should help tremendously. there is also one with a little girl on the front with a comb, it works great, but i cannot remember the name of it. my mom used to use it on mine, i loved it would not let her touch my hair without it. good luck, but defineatly try the aussie.

Infusium...its this liquid that you squirt in your hair when you comb it after a shower. I pour it into a little spray bottle so I can spray it in my hair. It works really good.

You should only comb your hair while it's soaking wet, preferably when your conditioner is in your hair.

Also, I agree with the other poster, Infusium 23 (original), is great for detangling. If I forget to detangle in the shower, I just put that in my hair, and work it out from there.
