My hair is pretty thick and long. I want to do something different with it. My mom won't let me highlight or dye it. Can I have some ideas on how to style it? Also, can you please tell me what face shape I have?

I see why your mom won't let you get highlights. You have a nice natural color. =) As for thick hair, I have thick hair too...when I get my haircut I ask the stylist to thin it out a bit and I get long layers. It helps and makes all the difference in the thickness. =)

you can get it cut in layers so that it does not seem so thick, just tell the stylist

Maybe try scrunching it? If you don't want it so thick you can get a bunch of layers or maybe get it thinned?I can't really tell yr face shape becuz none of the pictures are straight on.. You can also straighten it or curl it for something different

straighten it using one of the best straightening irons, the "CHI", it's the best and doesn't take long to get the job done. Only thing they start off at $80-90 for the little ones. A lil high for flat iron, but hey do fix it if something happens. 閳?Hope it helps!

It doesn't look very thick- but to make sure you will be happy with the hairstyle you ultimately choose, check with a stylist- usually they are professionals at determining a style that will look good for your face and can give you some ideas before you decide on a particular one. I am not a stylist, but I think bangs would look good on you (if your mom will let you cut it a little).
There are also some websites that will let you download your picture and you can put hairstyles on your photo to see how they will look.
Also- I can't tell the shape of your face because in all the pictures you're kind of turned to the side. Sorry !

You could have some long layers put in at the ends and maybe angle it at the bottom around your face. This would only be a small change. It would hang much nicer and you wouldn't lose any of your length. My daughter did this to her hair which was all one length and what an improvement. I'm not sure about the shape of your face, but long straight hair looks good on you.
